Busy life with a growing family and three high maintenance dogs has left little time for managing and archiving all the photos we have acquired over the years. Photo FlashLight was developed out of a frustration that built each time one of us attempted to create an “album” or locate a picture or video among the stacks and stacks of digital memories we’ve acquired.
John has always been an independent, “outside the box” thinker, frustrated by the confines of common software systems and longing for more simple solutions that go beyond AI and allow the user creative control of their own data. Kristen’s feet are closer to the ground, as a licensed mental health professional with over 20 years of training and experience, she brings a more practical lens to product development. The Jernigans share a desire for fast efficient tools that enrich their lives.
Together, we have developed a product we call “Photo FlashLight,” a photo management software system designed to bring photos out of the dark and into a structure that allows the user easy and safe (user data is never shared) access to their digital memories.
